Story concepts are curated starting points — each one defines a narrative arc, a setting, and character roles, but not the actual words or pictures. When you pick a concept, we use it as a blueprint to write an original story and generate unique illustrations featuring your child. Even if a hundred parents choose the same concept, every single book will be different.

The creation wizard takes about 5–10 minutes to complete. After that, your fully illustrated book is generated in a few minutes. You'll see real-time progress updates the whole way.

Most Talekin books are between 10 and 24 pages, depending on the reading level you choose and the story itself. Early-reader stories run shorter, while longer adventures fill the full 24 pages.

Your child's privacy is our top priority. Photos are encrypted during upload. Raw photos are automatically deleted after processing — only the derived character data needed for illustrations per style is kept. You can delete all data from your account at any time.

Yes! Every book includes one free edit round. You can change the story text on any page, regenerate any illustration, or both. You can even fix something globally — like updating your child's hair color across every page at once.

We offer multiple illustration styles including watercolor, gouache, picture-book classic, soft ink, 3D animation, and claymation. Each style is carefully tuned to maintain your child's likeness consistently across every page.

Absolutely! You can add up to 3 additional characters beyond the main child. Characters can be people (siblings, parents, grandparents), animals (pets), or even a favorite toy. Each character gets the same photo upload and customization options.

Talekin currently supports 8 languages: English, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Italian, Dutch, and Polish. Stories are generated natively in your chosen language, not translated.

Our stories are designed for children ages 0–12, with age-appropriate language and themes. Each story template indicates its recommended age group so you can find the perfect fit.
